Their ability to create engaging, impactful digital resources will ensure the success of the project's dissemination efforts, expanding its reach across Europe.

A leading Polish technical university, TUL combines strong academic performance with a clear commitment to community engagement. It offers a wide range of engineering and science programmes, supports nearly 11,000 students, and is known for its innovative teaching methods and international collaborations. TUL is deeply involved in social initiatives and is recognised for integrating the “Third Mission” of universities—community service and engagement—into its core strategy.

TUS is a multi-campus university with over 14,500 students, focusing on applied research, community development and sustainability. It has strong regional connections and is known for its practical, problem-solving approach to education. Its Development Unit and Department of Applied Social Sciences are particularly active in rural and social innovation, making TUS a key contributor to ACE’s empowerment and training elements.

Founded in 1632, the University of Tartu is Estonia’s oldest and most prestigious university. It is ranked among the world’s top universities and is a leader in political science, civic education, and applied social research. The Johan Skytte Institute, its main contributor to ACE, has strong expertise in stakeholder dialogue, strategic foresight and European policy, and is well-versed in managing community-focused academic projects.

The largest and oldest university in the region, the University of Belgrade plays a central role in Serbia’s higher education system. With more than 100,000 students and 31 faculties, it combines research excellence with a growing emphasis on social responsibility and civic engagement. Its team brings extensive experience in policy reform, curriculum development, and higher education innovation.

The Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU) is a quality assurance body that supports universities in becoming more engaged and entrepreneurial. Based in Münster, it provides accreditation, research and development services, and project leadership across Europe. For the ACE project, ACEEU leads the formation of the alliance and toolkit, drawing on its expertise in institutional change and engagement strategies.
