ACE showcased as a best practice at the Erasmus+ InnHub Łódź networking event

On 22 April 2026, representatives of Lodz University of Technology (TUL) took part in a local Erasmus+ networking workshop entitled “From dialogue to action – civic engagement in Erasmus+ projects”, held in Łódź.

The event was organised by InnHub Łódź, the local contact point of the Polish Erasmus+ National Agency and hosted at TUL’s International Cooperation Centre. The workshop brought together approximately 20 participants, including representatives of higher education institutions, non‑governmental organisations and other entities from the education sector, creating a space for cross‑sectoral exchange and dialogue.

Alongside interactive workshops dedicated to the Erasmus+ horizontal priority Participation in democratic life, common values and civic engagement, the event featured a curated best practices session. Two of TUL’s projects – ACE and #edu4SDGs – were presented, highlighting exemplary approaches to civic engagement and demonstrating how Erasmus+ initiatives can effectively transform dialogue into meaningful educational and societal action.

During the best practices segment, Justyna Kopańska and Małgorzata Jarczyńska jointly delivered a presentation showcasing how the ACE project supports higher education institutions in strengthening systemic, long‑term community engagement. The presentation demonstrated how universities can foster civic participation and shared responsibility through:

  • dialogue‑based cooperation with internal and external stakeholders,
  • participatory workshops and consultation processes,
  • shared tools and platforms supporting engagement, and
  • building institutional capacity for sustainable civic impact.

Participation in the InnHub Łódź workshop provided an important opportunity to present ACE solutions to local stakeholders, exchange experiences across sectors, and reflect on how Erasmus+ projects can support active citizenship, participation and community engagement at both institutional and local levels.
